Our programming season has concluded. Announcements concerning upcoming programs are forthcoming.


Since 2002, Slought Foundation has organized a participatory series of seminars and roundtables about contemporary art and life featuring theorists and cultural critics. These events recast the role of the public intellectual while showcasing innovations in interdisciplinary scholarship. Issues engaged include:

The transition to surveillant forms of power and the spectacularization of violence;
The rise of hyper-individualism and anti-intellectualism;
Alternative histories of the avant-gardes.
